9th Year

Today is my 9th wedding anniversary. Kari and I talked about that lastnight. It wasn’t all easy and we don’t expect the remainder of our lives to be easy either. We are not easy people. Oh, don’t get me wrong. It was not all difficult either! Many, most of the days neither one of us would ever want anything different. Through all our life experiences, the value we applied to them, and our changes in personalities and emotional intelligence; I am proud we have been able to adjust to each other’s differences and focus on our core values and happiness. To you Kari, I remove my cap in respect and honor and thank you for your continued commitment and living life’s dream together. And…I put my cap back on to save your view of a graying/balding husband.
